Music & Media
Music is a vital part of our worship at Concord.  Music allows us to speak to God’s heart, offering our praise and worship, while at the same time allowing God to speak to our hearts.  If God has given you the gift of musicianship, there are several opportunities to get involved and offer your gifts back to God.

Chancel Choir

Because there are many worship styles described in the Bible, our Chancel Choir strives to offer a variety of songs and musical styles from traditional hymns accompanied by the pipe organ, to contemporary praise music on piano and guitar.  We rehearse from 7-8:30 pm on Thursdays, and whether you sing or play an instrument, there’s a place for you.

Bell Choir

Bells were first used in church back in AD 400, and their beautiful sound still rings today at Concord.  Even if you have no previous musical instrument experience, bells are easy to learn and before you know it you can be part of one of only a handful of handbell choirs in the Greater Dayton Area.  Rehearsals are Sunday evenings from 6-7:30.

Media
If you are more the behind-the-scenes type and you are technologically gifted, you might enjoy being a part of the Audio Visual Team.  The Team participates in worship planning and is responsible for creating and presenting the beautiful slides the congregation reads from during worship.  They’re also responsible for setting up the necessary sound equipment for the speakers, singers, and musicians, and for operating the soundboard during worship.  In other words, the AV Team is an essential part of worship!
