Ali Rode

Rev. Ali Rode is a Dayton area native, a graduate of Kettering Fairmont High School and heard the call to ministry as a confirmand at Christ UMC in Kettering. She studied Youth Ministry and Spanish at Ohio Northern University and received her Master's in Divinity in 2010 from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. She also has studied Counseling Ministries at the Methodist Theological School of Ohio. 

 

Beginning primarily in children's and youth ministry, Pastor Ali has also served in specialized ministry settings including community development and camping. Commissioned in 2014, and ordained in 2018, she has been serving as a lead pastor since 2016, most recently at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brookville, Ohio a congregation of the ELCA in extension ministry as a Full Elder. 

 

Ali's heart for ministry is helping individuals and churches follow their gifts and calling to embody the love and grace of God for the community. 

 

Ali and Brian will be celebrating 6 years of marriage in August and have lived in Englewood since 2021. They love to travel as Brian is a Manager of the Operations Control Center at PSA Airlines which is located in Vandalia. Ali's mother Marilyn and her husband Allen live in Phillipsburg and Brian's family resides in Syracuse,NY and Louisville,KY. 

 

They look forward to calling Concord Church home and meeting folks in the community.
