Ali Rode

Rev. Ali Rode is a Dayton area native, a graduate of Kettering Fairmont High School and heard the call to ministry as a teenager in youth group at Christ Church United Methodist in Kettering. She studied Youth Ministry and Spanish at Ohio Northern University and received her Master in Divinity in 2010 from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, IL. She also studied Counseling Ministries at the Methodist Theological School of Ohio. Currently she is part of a Cohort initiative "Thriving in Ministry" and the Emerging Clergy Cohort of the United Methodist Church. 

 

Beginning primarily in children's and youth ministry, Pastor Ali has also served in specialized ministry settings including community development and camping. She has been serving as a lead pastor since 2016, and has been serving in full-time ministry since 2012. 

 

Ali's heart for ministry is fostering the spiritual wellness of individuals and communities to make a difference in their lives. 

 

Ali and her husband Brian have been living in Englewood since 2021. They love to travel as Brian is a manager at PSA Airlines which is located in Vandalia. In their spare time they visit family and friends across the United States.
