Strategic Visioning & Paragraph 213

Dear Concord Church Family & Friends,

  By the Grace of God we are embarking together in a process of reviewing our shared ministry. In this effort, we will spend three months reviewing: (1) the ministry of the Concord Church, present, past, and future ministry, (2) its leadership structure and processes, (3) finances including reviewing our recent audit,(4) the facility and any deferred maintenance, (5) our membership rolls, and discipleship making processes, and (6) the community that exists outside the doors of our facility.

  This process will be completed with a day-long Strategic Planning Retreat.  There are five meetings that will take place before the retreat for information gathering, fellowship, and spiritual formation.  There will be two of these meetings every month, the sixth meeting is the retreat. Our Leadership Board will be the body which engages with these tasks, as well as other visitors or volunteers who may be called upon to engage with this work.

  As a part of this process, if you are a member or attend with some knowledge of who we are currently as a congregation, I invite you to fill out this core values survey. It should take some reflection, but do not overthink it. Simply follow the instructions below on paper or electronically and submit to the church office as soon as possible so the feedback can be included in our shared work. If there are additional notes you may also submit these with your Core Values Survey.
